Withers to Coach 2009/10

The Waratah Football Club is pleased to announce that club veteran and dual premiership player Lincon Withers has been appointed Senior Coach for the 2009/10 season.

Preliminary Final 2009/10

With expectations high the mighty warriors came back to earth with a dissappointing loss to the Tiwi Bombers who used their pace and elusiveness to great effect in their breakthrough win.  For a 10 minute period in the 2nd qtr tahs showed what they were capable of,  banging on 6 goals and looking like they were headed for another Grand Final showdown. After half time though Tiwi took control of the game and put an end to the warriors season. Young gun Josh Chaplin led the way with a disciplined performance down back showing he is a player with a big future at gardens oval. » Read More
