For the 2nd year running The old warriors take out the title
Congratulations to current and former Warriors Paul "half a game" Carroll, Shane"doesnt want to win" Carroll, Selwyn "Shonky" Short, Anthony "Raging Bull" Hoban, James "Winner" Bury, Garry "One Knee" Smallridge, Ashleigh "Redman" Barnett, Mathew "Golden Showers" Chilcott, Paul "Pig" Campigli, Pyramid Hill recruits "Loose" Bruce Moon, Bruce "Jonesy" McCahon and Moorey on their success at the Bali 9's in June.
The Bali 9's is a uniquie concept staged each year by Waratahs sister club The Mighty Bali Geckos. Teams from throughout Asia and Australia come together to compete in a 9 a side over 35's format held on a soccer oval at the prestigious Canngu resort in Bali.
For the second year running the Waratah boys have taken out the title and continued to spread the faith and good will that this fabled club has a reputation for across the land. Not only did the boys play well on the field they held their own off it with a massive 2 day bender culminating with their annual sunday pool session where it is believed even the Snake had a beer instead of doing 500 situps.
